General Help at Prospect Hill Academy

Prospect Hill Academy is a local charter school with campuses in Somerville and Cambridge. The school mission aims to prepare all students for success in college, inspire a lifelong love of learning, and foster responsible citizenship. To that end, it is imperative that we develop mutually beneficial partnerships with individuals and institutions in the immediate community. At this time, our volunteer needs range in commitment level and scope. Avenues through which to become involved include:

•One-on-one or small group tutoring of students in science, math, English or Spanish
•Providing expertise to inform the content taught in our engineering design program (EPICS)
•Providing expertise or internships to students completing year-long Senior Projects on various project topics
•Helping us build our budget to continually support and expand our engineering design program
•Locating a roof on which our engineering design seminar students could design and install a green roof

Time and/or energy that could be devoted to supporting any of the above programs would be greatly appreciated!
